Ride Arizona is now offering Basic Rider Courses for $150.00. We are limited to 8 students per course! Here’s how you can reserve your ride with us – Call the office at 520-876-4775 to make y0ur date to ride.

At time of registration we will send an email the process to send your checks or money orders in to secure your time.

This could be you- receiving your Completion Card and paperwork to go down to the MVD for an endorsement.

The MSF programs are designed for both motorcyclists and motorists’ from novice to experienced. Successful course completion of both the written and riding test exempts class graduates from taking the Arizona Motorcycle Licensing Tests.

Designed to prepare riders to entry into the world of traffic. It is a mixture of 5 hours of classroom and 10 hours of range. Upon successful completion of written and riding evaluations, students will receive a MSF RiderCourse Completion Card and riding school Certificate of Completion.

Students are riding approved training motorcycles of 250cc, all provided by the school. Classes are offered during the weekdays or weekends. Use CODE – RAMTC-1MD

So lets give the gift of rider education for the wife, mother or just a gift to yourself of learning how to ride! Either call or go on-line to reserve your motorcycle to day.

I want to give my thanks to everyone who showed up and played with us. I love what I do and I couldn’t of done it without you, we need riders…….it’s no fun by yourself. Fun was had by all; wish more could have attended, but think they will when they hear how much fun it was and the lessons learned.

We raised $500.00 with only 13 participated riders and a few spectators. Instead of having a vendor out there to do the food we set up our own hot dog stand and asked for donations. We sold some our shirts with 50% of the monies going to Operations Wounded Warrior as well. The brake down of proceeds are as followed:

The Wounded Warriors took in approximately $350.00 for the ride event and Picacho Peak chapter VFW Riders donated [approximately $150.00] proceeds from the Hot Dog Stand to the Wounded Warriors.

Ann was our cook; our thanks for operating the hot dog stand! You are all awesome!

I do plan on having another Operation Wounded Warrior again this year; details will come out later this year.

Operation Wounded Warriors/ Ride Arizona MTC

Thanks to all and congratulations to Bill Schaeffler, Winner of the VFW Rider of the Year award!

Fun was had by all; wish more could have attended, but think they will when they hear how much fun it was and the lessons learned by all.

Why Helmets

Riding a motorcycle is a choice so is wearing a helmet if you are over the age of 18; however the more you know the better it gets, I wear one because I go pass just riding in the wind to being as safe as I can. My ride comes without seat-belts, airbag and guardrails. And for that, I need a helmet that protect my head against any trauma or damage during unforeseen accidents. This is were choosing the right helmet makes all the difference, more importantly though, it has to fit to do the job it’s intended to do.

The role of helmets are when you encounter a crash on your motorcycle, as long as you wear this protective gear on your head, then you will of reduced serious damage to your brain or anything that could be fatal. By wearing this gear, along with other protective riding gears, then you could possibly lessen injuries, if not prevent them altogether. When wearing a helmet, it also protects you from harmful whether conditions, noisy wind and rider fatigue that most people suffer from when going on long motorcycle rides.

And while no one wishes harm on anyone, prevention is better than NO prevention. You must therefore wear your helmets at all times, whether your riding long or short distance. When a crash does happen, that is the only time you get to appreciate its real true value. And if a crash does happen it’s at this time you need to go to the dealership to have them send it back to the manufactures to do a crash check for it’s condition or possible you need to replace it.

So, make sure you choose your helmets properly to ensure you’re protected when on the road.

Basic & Experience Combo

Ride Arizona has now come up with a deal for both levels of rider education into one. Take the Basic Rider Course and learn on our motorcycles at first, than come back on your motorcycle and take the Experience Rider Course. Your course is already paid for; the combo deal is a savings of $40.00.

Why did Ride Arizona come up with this idea? Well the thought process is, we teach you how to ride on a 250cc (our motorcycles) and not always or sometimes folks have difficulties implementing the same techniques on their motorcycles; which are most of the time bigger than a 250cc.

So, we put together a package that would allow them to learn the basics at a smaller scale and discounted the price so they would come back on their own motorcycles to learn how to maneuver their own ride under certain conditions.

There is nothing better than a trained and knowledgeable rider. And to do that; rider education is the way to go.
